Function Description

The core function of the drum sludge thickener is to concentrate the dilute sludge generated in the wastewater treatment process. The specific working process is as follows: First, the dilute sludge is evenly introduced into the drum filter area. The drum is covered with a special filter cloth, and under the action of gravity and negative pressure (or positive pressure), the water in the sludge passes through the filter cloth to form filtrate, which is discharged through the filtrate collection system. The sludge solids are intercepted on the surface of the filter cloth to form a sludge cake. As the drum rotates, the sludge cake is continuously carried to the discharge area, and then scraped off by the scraper to complete the sludge concentration process. In addition, the equipment is also equipped with a filter cloth cleaning system to regularly clean the filter cloth, ensuring the continuous and stable operation of the filtration effect.
