What is Dual Quality Water Supply System?

The Dual-Quality Water Supply System is an integrated split-stream water treatment solution independently developed by QILEE, combining zero-power Gravity Purifier and modular Skid-Mounted Nanofiltration (NF) equipment. Instead of treating all water to drinking standard with high energy consumption, the system divides clarified water into two pipelines for classified supply:

Stream 1 Utility Water

For daily miscellaneous use & industrial production, no post treatment, zero extra energy loss.

Capacity: Customized up to 900,000 m³/day

Process: Gravity clarified water direct distribution

Standard: Local Municipal Water Standard (e.g. Malaysia SPAN)

Feature: Zero additional energy, no chemical dosing after clarification

Stream 2 Direct Drinking Water

Deep treated by skid NF units, selectively retains beneficial minerals Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, no remineralisation required.

Capacity: Customized up to 300,000 m³/day

Process: Skid Mounted NF at 7 bar low pressure

Standard: WHO 4th Edition Drinking Water Standard

Feature: Retain natural Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺; remove salts, colour, pathogens

Ultra Low Energy Consumption

The Gravity Purifier core operates with zero electricity. Low pressure 7 bar NF cuts membrane energy cost versus 15 bar RO. Utility water skips secondary membrane treatment to eliminate extra power waste.

Optimized Water Quality Without Remineralisation

Nanofiltration removes harmful salts, turbidity and pathogens. It keeps healthy Ca²⁺ and Mg²⁺, maintaining stable hardness. No extra mineral adding step is needed for qualified direct drinking effluent water.

Low Comprehensive Investment & Operation Cost

Split stream supply removes full‑flow deep membrane work to reduce CAPEX. Blended OPEX can reach 0.19 RM/m³ subject to raw water quality. Long life gravity equipment keeps routine maintenance expenses very low.
