Performance Features

Selector Valve Assembly

Accurately controls the reagent sampling sequence, ensuring the orderly and efficient progress of the entire analysis process.

Sampling Assembly

Adopts a peristaltic pump for negative pressure suction. An air buffer zone is always maintained between the reagent and the pump tube, which effectively prevents the pump tube from being corroded and prolongs the service life of the pump tube.

Metering Assembly

Implements precise reagent metering through a visual photoelectric system, which overcomes the quantitative error caused by the wear of the peristaltic pump tube. Meanwhile, it achieves accurate quantification of trace reagents, with each dose only 1.5 ml, greatly reducing reagent consumption.

Sealed Digestion Assembly

Equipped with a high-temperature and high-pressure digestion system, which accelerates the reaction rate and ensures complete oxidation of various nitrogen-containing compounds in the water sample. It also avoids equipment corrosion caused by the volatilization of corrosive gases in open systems, enhancing the instrument's reliability.

Reagent Tube

Uses imported new PTFE transparent hoses with an inner diameter larger than 1.5 mm, which significantly reduces the probability of blockage caused by particulate matter in the water sample and simplifies maintenance procedures.

Working Principle

In an alkaline medium at 120℃～124℃, potassium persulfate oxidant is added to oxidize ammonia, ammonium salts, nitrites and most organic nitrogen compounds in the water sample into nitrates. Then, the total nitrogen content is determined by the alkaline potassium persulfate digestion-ultraviolet spectrophotometric method in the form of nitrate nitrogen.
